Tonight, the nation came together again to show appreciation for our frontline NHS workers and carers who are both fighting the coronavirus pandemic head on.
As part of the Clap for Carers campaign, neighbourhoods opened their windows and joined in on a massive round of applause to show solidarity to our frontline workers as the clocks struck 8pm.
In Riddrie, cheers could be heard from outside the walls of HMP Barlinnie as prisoners expressed their support for our key workers.
