FIREBUGS torched cars in two incidents over four days.

Vandals set the vehicles alight on Robroyston Road in Barmulloch.

Thankfully, no-one was injured in either attack.

Local resident Chris Barr, who witnessed the second fire on Wednesday, April 1, urged people to stop targeting the North Glasgow street, claiming he had witnessed two car blazes in a week.

He said he heard a loud bang on Sunday morning alerting him to the blaze and had the same experience just days later when a second car was thrown up in flames on the residential street.

Other residents took to social media to blast the culprits.

One Barmulloch woman branded the firebug “scum” and said she hoped they were caught.
