An Irish bar within the city has paid a warming tribute for our frontline health workers as it boarded up for the coronavirus lockdown.
Grace's Bar in the Merchant City has painted boards covering up glass windows blue and white to represent the NHS' corporate colours.
"NHS, Stay Home Save Lives" embedded within two massive blue love hearts can be read across nine of the Hoops' fans bar windows.

Within the huge blue love hearts, a statement reads: "#ThankYouNHS
"Much love from all staff and customers here at Grace's."
Paul Kelly, who is the venue manager, told the Glasgow Times: “Glasgow always comes together in times of crisis.
"It’s what we do and what defines us.
"The customers and staff of Grace’s are a big part of the city.
"Our gesture however, is nothing compared to the daily sacrifices of the men and women on the frontline who are fighting this terrible pandemic.
"We just wanted to show our gratitude in the only way we could.
"Keep safe everyone and stay indoors until we are told otherwise.“
Sharing the stunning tribute online, a Facebook post reads: "Grace’s in Glasgow’s Merchant City, were sad to see the venue boarded up yesterday.
"And so, we decided to remind everyone we are in this together by replacing the boards with something a bit more uplifting.
"Stay home and help the NHS. It’s the only way we can save lives.
"Stay safe, stay well and stay indoors."
The post has since received over 2000 likes.
A member of staff commented: "Proud to be part of this team! What a way to show some love! Can’t wait for it to all be over! x"
