GLASGOW-BORN TV star John Barrowman has hit out at a fake account pretending to be him.
The actor, 53, told his fans that the fake account had been asking people for money and donations.
The star, who has appeared in hit TV shows Doctor Who, Arrow and Desperate Housewives, said: "Hey fan family this account @johnbarrowmanpersonal is pretending to be me and asking people for money/donations etc.
"It is not me! It's fake! Please do not fall for the scam. Why do we have to deal with sh**ty people like this at this time! My account has the blue tick!"
We previously reported in December that John was in the city at the SEC Armadillo with his new Christmas show after cancelling the original concert date. He ruptured the vertebrae in his neck forcing him to reschedule the performance.
