TV presenter Laura Boyd has tweeted her shock after the Beatson was forced to tie down hand sanitiser to stop thieves taking it.
A sign at the reception of Scotland's cancer hospital reads: "Please do not steal the hand gel it is here to protect patients."
And the bottle is firmly tied down with string next to a second sign that reads: "Alarmed."
