THEY are risking their lives every day to keep our city safe during the coronavirus pandemic. 

But, firefighters in Glasgow have also made sure to have some fun and are now challenging others to do the same. 

Red Watch firemen based in Maryhill took to Tiktok and did their bit to make everyone's lives a little brighter during lockdown.

Craig Mackinnon, Thomas McCann, Michael Roberts and Iain McIntyre joined millions around the world on the video sharing platform by choreographing their own dance. 

But, while most of us have to settle for our living rooms, the group gave their performance a unique twist by dancing inside the station. 

They have now called on firefighters across the city to do the same and have a go at the 'Firefighter Dance Challenge'. 

Craig, who shared the video with The Glasgow Times, said: "We're just trying to spread some joy. Let's see what others can come up with."
