POLICE have responded after pictures emerged of what appears to be a mass drinking party on Lanarkshire wasteground.
Around 30 people are alleged to have met up near Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire on Saturday for what they called a “social distance swally."
One of the group is said to have posted this photo on her social media account, captioning it: “Probs be in the cells for 4”.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We are aware of numerous incident of non compliance across the country with officers attending these calls.
"Officers will engage, explain, encourage to prevent ongoing and future non-compliance."
