INVERCLYDE'S bravest teenager Molly Cuddihy won the heart of yet another star as she jammed with top Scots singer Paolo Nutini.

The charity champion, who is battling a rare form of bone cancer, has raised hundreds of thousands in aid of the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

Her remarkable courage saw the Paisley star invite her along to his studio where they sang his hits together.

Since she was first diagnosed two years ago Molly has inspired both music mogul Simon Cowell and Take That man Gary Barlow with her bravery.

Molly posted footage of her in the studio with Paolo to support Inverclyde Lockdown Live, which is fundraising for good causes during the coronavirus.

Organiser Lynette Beaton said: "Molly Cuddihy is our own lnverclyde superstar.

"She is an incredibly inspiring, talented, innovative, strong and kind young lady and we are thrilled that she wanted to share these videos with our lockdown gang."

Molly went into the studio with Paolo prior to going into hospital for continued treatment for a stem cell transplant.

She was the first ever winner of the Rosie Veronica Mitchell Memorial Award at our sister title The Greenock Telegraph's community champions gala.

Molly, who is fighting against Metastatic Ewing's Sarcoma, was previously invited to London to watch Britain's Got Talent Live by Simon Cowell, who was moved after meeting her.

Molly, who achieved straight As despite her ill health and even sat her Nationals in hospital, then won a place at a summer school at Oxford University.

The teenager also found time to organise a massive charity ball together with her best friend Sara Millar to say thanks to all the hospital staff who have helped her.

It raised a staggering £250,000.

The money is being used to create a room for children aged eight to 12 in the Royal's Schiehallion Ward.

Both Molly and Sara have played a huge part in the design, working alongside hospital and health board officials.
