A disqualified driver was caught making a trip from London to Glasgow in the middle of the night.

Cumbria Roads Police pulled over a vehicle travelling on the M6 from London at 2am on Sunday morning.

Officers from the force issued a series of "top tips" to disqualified drivers on Twitter, stating: "1. Don't drive.

"2. Don't drive during lockdown when there are far fewer vehicles on the road.

"3. Don’t drive London-Glasgow in a car at 2.00 am when the only other vehicles on the road are HGVs and us!"
