A MAN's body has been recovered from the water at Strathclyde Country Park.
Emergency services, including a force helicopter, were called to the Lanarkshire beauty spot shortly before 11am this morning following concerns for a person.
They say personal belongings were found on a small beach, raising the alarm over fears someone had entered the water.
The scene remains locked down as enquiries continue.

The man's identidy is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 10.50 am this morning, police were called to Strathclyde Park, Lanarkshire, following concern for the welfare of a man who's personal items had been found on a small beach near the car park.
"Emergency services, including the police helicopter and the dog unit, attended and a short time later, a man's body was recovered from the water.
"Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to identify the deceased."
