A RANGERS star’s trial for alleged dangerous driving was postponed today due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Winger Jordan Jones was due in the dock accused of going at “excessive speeds for the road and traffic conditions” on Glasgow’s M77 last July.
The 25-year-old is said to have also travelled over road markings.
The winger is then alleged to have changed lanes without indicating and repeatedly carried out undertaking manoeuvres.
Prosecutors claim Jones was travelling too close to vehicles and ignoring traffic signals in his Range Rover Sport.
Jones' attendance at a hearing in Glasgow Sheriff Court in March was excused but a plea of not guilty to dangerous driving was entered on his behalf.
A trial was set for today but has been postponed due to the current health crisis.
A new trial date is set for September this year and Jones remains on bail at an address in Redcar, North Yorkshire, meantime.
