An SNP MP has been charged along with his neighbour after an alleged disturbance involving a Celtic flag.

Steven Bonnar, who is the MP for Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill, was said to have hung the flag in the window of his home in Uddingston, Lanarkshire, on April 16.

The MP then reportedly got into an argument over the flag with a 51-year-old neighbour.
