A CITY of Glasgow College law student has won £5000 for her faculty after triumphing in a prestigious national competition.
Kirstie Ann Duncan outshone participants from Bristol, Belfast, Leeds and Anglia Ruskin University to win the F&C Investment Trust Prize.
Kirstie’s entry, drawing on her own experience, explored the financial difficulties facing young people and practical solutions to help overcome them.
It is the second time a City of Glasgow College student has won the respected trophy.
Kirstie said: “I am overjoyed - this experience has given me some invaluable skills and the knowledge to manage my own finances going forward.”
Principal Paul Little of City of Glasgow College said: “We would like to congratulate Kirstie on this tremendous achievement and applaud her for her hard work.”
