FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a house fire in the city's Toryglen.
Three crews were sent to Ardnahoe Avenue just before 5pm after the alarm was raised.
Dramatic video footage shows a well-developed fire in a block of flats.
The area has been cordoned off by Police Scotland officers while firefighters tackle the blaze. 
It is now known if anyone has been injured.
One local, who did not want to be named said: "I hope no one is injured.
"We don't know if anyone was in the flat."
Another shocked local said: "A lot of elderly people live in that block and young families. I hope everyone is OK."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they are at the scene.
