People across the UK are continuing to experience issues with broadband and mobile phone connections with Virgin Media.

It's the second day in a row that users have experienced difficulty connecting in the UK's major cities including London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.

Thousands of problems were reported on Wednesday, and it looks like as of 12pm on Thursday, the problems have arisen again.

According to Downdetector, a website which collects user reports to show where problems are occurring with different network providers and websites has seen a rise in problems with Virgin Media over the last week.

Today's outage began just after 9am, and most users appear to be reporting problems relating to their internet connection.

It comes as people across Britain are being asked to work from home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Anyone who is experiencing issues with Virgin Media should check Virgin Media's website to see if it is a local issue.
