The First Minister is to set out Scotland's four-phase 'route map' of easing lockdown restrictions today.

Nicola Sturgeon will address the country at her daily briefing to update us on the government's plans.

When is Nicola Sturgeon's lockdown update?

The First Minister's daily coronavirus briefing is normally broadcast at 12.30pm everyday, with some exceptions.

For today's important update, it will begin at 12.30pm as normal, and will see Ms Sturgeon give her briefing and take journalist's questions afterwards.

Where to watch Scotland's coronavirus briefing

Each day, the briefing is broadcast live through the Scottish GOvernment's Twitter and Facebook pages.

It is also available to view on BBC Scotland, on both television and radio, at 12.30pm.

Sometimes it starts a little later than 12.30pm, but it is worth tuning in around that time so that nothing is missed.

What is Nicola Sturgeon going to say at today's briefing?

There are a few measures that could be eased on May 28, and that's what we're expecting the First Minister to discuss today.

It's thought that officials are considering whether sports like golf, tennis and fishing could return after the next review.

In addition, many are hoping that garden centres could potentially be reopened, as well as recycling centres.
