A city centre street was cordoned off by police on Saturday following reports of falling debris.
Police closed off West Regent Street between Renfield Street and West Nile Street around 3pm.
It is believed nobody was injured by the incident.
However, drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team said: "Due to an ongoing Police incident, West Regent Street is closed to all vehicles between Renfield Street and West Nile Street until further notice.
"Road users are advised to avoid the area if possible."
Glasgow has been experiencing strong to gale winds throughout Saturday.
The heavy wind also caused disruption to train services earlier in the day.

A police spokeswoman said: "Around 3:20pm on Saturday 23 May 2020, police received a report of debris falling from a building in West Regent Street.
"The area is currently cordoned off. There are no reports of any injuries. "
