'Score' of police officers rushed to disturbance at city centre lane as three men are assaulted
A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault on three men on Sunday evening.
Officers were rushed to Metropole Lane at around 8pm, where three men aged 32, 54 and 61 were found assaulted.
The 40-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times: "A score of police surrounded and entered the Pipeworks ‘gentlemen’s club’ in Metropole Lane off Clyde Street yesterday evening.
"Two men were escorted to one of several waiting vans."
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
