Management staff members at an East Dunbartonshire care home are being investigated for allegedly mistreating residents.
Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown is at the centre of a probe for potential mistreatment of current and former residents.
Earlier this year, it was reported that nine residents had died after contracting Covid-19.
It is understood that the investigation is not connected to the coronavirus outbreak.

Residents' family members have been informed of the probe, which is still at an early stage.
The Daily Record revealed the home contacted the relatives in an email: "We have been made aware of some anonymous concerns made with regards to certain members of the management team at Springvale.
"Naturally, the home is working closely with all regulatory bodies, including the Care Inspectorate and Police Scotland, to hopefully bring this to a swift conclusion.”

"Enquiries are at an early stage and all relevant partners and families have been made aware and are being kept informed."
