LITTER louts have been fly-tipping on Scotland's railways.

Network Rail claim there has been an increase in incidents of rubbish blocking their access routes to the railway lines.

Network Rail staff also say they need to access the lines quickly during emergency situations.

They say that the issue has increased after local authorities closed many recycling centres due to coronavirus pandemic.
