COPS launched a manhunt in the city's South Side after a fight.

The force was seen throughout King's Park and Mount Florida on Monday night.

The Glasgow Times has learned that a 41-year-old man suffered minor injuries on Menock Road.

Another man, believed to have been involved in the fight, made off to nearby Mount Florida, and officers were spotted by residents searching nearby.

One resident said: "It was weird and no one knew what was going. It seemed that police were everywhere for hours. I am not sure if they were looking for someone."

The force did not confirm details of the incident but it is understood that a weapon may have been involved.
