THE bank holiday is over and it’s back to home schooling time.
This week’s first Home Times has been taken over by the literacy team.
They’re looking at ways to turn our young pupils into word wizards – so here’s a host of activities to try.
Now everyone is at home more, there is time for reading and picking up new and exciting words from books or television.
Today we have different tasks to try to make sure the words stick in children’s minds.
And they involve some artwork that will be bright and cheerful.
Maybe some stories in the newspaper will help with new words too.
