MY daughter attends Hillpark Secondary and was supposed to travel to Austria on a skiing trip at the start of April. (Parents’ fury as school trip refund is short £400, Monday).

The holiday was cancelled by the company but it is refusing to give refunds.

The school has now brought in lawyers to try to sort it out.

Absolutely disgraceful – £650 out of pocket, plus all the expenses purchasing ski clothes on top of that.

Fingers crossed the lawyers do their job and get us cash back ASAP.

I LOVE seeing all the Camera Club photographs, and also the weekly Stewart Paterson political round-up. The latter always seems to hit the right tone.

ROADBLOCKS should be put in place (Crowds snub rules for Loch Lomond trip, Monday).

There are many people following guidelines who are desperate to be able to travel but can’t!

I live in a small seaside town and this worries me greatly when caravan parks open down our way. People need to stick to the rules set out. We all want to get out of this and soon.

SOME folk really need to get a grip.

It really makes me angry as me and many of my friends and family are in the shielding group as this virus could kill us.

Please stop being selfish and think of others less fortunate than yourself.

Nicola Sturgeon said you can go out if you really must but stay at home as much as you can.

Unfortunately if you give some folk an inch they will take a mile.

PART and parcel of living there.

I’m guessing if social distancing is applied, I see no reason not to.

The people of Luss are very precious about their village, but happy

to accept the revenue it receives from tourists any other time.

SOME people are just plain stupid. It’s the rest of us who have obeyed lockdown for so long that are going to suffer.

PEOPLE need to take heed of guidelines or we will end up back where we started.

BIG difference between accepting tourists in the village when the amenities are open and when there’s a pandemic with people told not to flock to beauty spots!
