GLASGOW City Council has updated advice to residents visiting their recycling centres.
The local authority said they are now accepting black bags, garden waste, cardboard, wood including small furniture and mattresses.
The centres will be also now open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm with the last drop off 3.45 pm.
The council stated that Glasgow residents are welcomed to the sites and warned anyone visiting should expect delays.
No vans or commercial waste is allowed.
