A MAN who was found dead in a Milngavie park has been named by police. 

Duncan McKenzie, 49, was discovered by officers in Allander Park at around 11.30am last Thursday. 

The death is being treated as unexplained but cops are keen to speak to anyone who saw Duncan in his final days.

They are appealing for anyone with information on his movements between Tuesday and Thursday to come forward. 

He is described as being around 5ft 9 with short dark hair, and he was wearing a light-blue puffer jacket and well-worn dark-blue jeans.

Detective Inspector Steven Watson, from Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Our thoughts are with Duncan's family and friends at this difficult time.

“We are appealing for anyone with information about his movements between Tuesday 2 and Thursday 4 June to please come forward and assist our investigation.

"Duncan is described as being around 5ft 9 with short dark hair, and he was wearing a light-blue puffer jacket and well-worn dark-blue jeans.
