A MAN who died in a Barrhead house on Sunday has been named locally.
Shaun Feeley, 31, was found by officers on Kerr Street at around 5.30am after the alarm had been raised.
Police are treating his death as unexplained but a 23-year-old woman has been charged with assault. She was due to appear in Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday.
A JustGiving page has now been set-up to help cover the costs of the dad-of-one's funeral and has coined in nearly £5,000.
A police spokesperson, who could not confirm Mr Feeley's name, told our sister title the Barrhead News: “Enquires are ongoing in relation to the unexplained death of a 31-year-old male that occurred within Kerr Street, Barrhead.
"At this time, a 23-year-old female has been charged with assault and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court."
