WE'VE all been longing for freedom in recent months. Now, a drive-in cinema near Glasgow Airport is going to give us the next best thing.

A series of classic movies will be shown in a spot next to the airfield as entertainment in the city reaches new heights.

The Drive-In Cinema has announced details of its events this summer that will all take place in Paisley, Renfrewshire, right beside Glasgow Airport.

The group will host five screenings at 55 West March Road next month with Scottish flick Braveheart among them.

Organisers say: "With cinemas and other arts venues unlikely to open any time soon, we thought of away to keep you entertained in the meantime as safely as possible!

"We will be showing a mix of blockbuster classics across the weekend.
