IT'S been decided once and for all...Audi drivers are the most likely to break the speed limit in Glasgow. 

New figures show locals who favour the German motoring giant have committed the most speeding offences in the city. 

Speed cameras clocked Audis breaking the limit in eight out of the top 20 incidents in Greater Glasgow since 2018.

The new statistics, released to The Glasgow Times following a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, show Audis were used in nearly three times as many cases as its nearest rival Volkswagen.

The highest speed clocked in the city in the last two years was 101mph in an Audi S3 Quattro.

Six drivers were found to be going more than 80mph with the likes of Land Rover, Mercedes, and Ford also making the list.

Seat and Mazda motorists were also clocked while - perhaps surprisingly - there was no room for BMW drivers in the top 20.
