HAVING seen the awful scenes of crowds’s gathering at shop entrances in England

I fear the worst for this virus.

Why are these shops not taking any responsibility for customer control outside their stores? Social distancing is becoming a joke as too many appear to think that the pandemic is over.

The UK Government has made disastrous decisions since the start of this epidemic and Boris Johnson is definitely just winging it on a daily basis. Utterly hopeless and very dangerous. He needs to be booted out as soon as possible.

I DON’T know if any other citizen experiences this when reporting issues to the Glasgow City Council cleaning number or Police Scotland via 101. I tried to call to report a discarded needle to the council and all I got was two machine messages advising you can report the issue online, no answer and no thank you.

The Police Scotland 101 number gave me a similar experience, with no contact directly to a police officer. What are these workers doing at the call centres?

WHY should traders be asked to go to parks to pick up their boxes, when we have bin men to do that job. Traders could be asked to pitch in to keep litter away as the parks were trashed again on Wednesday.

Will they close their shop to do this job? Or those who are doing community service, why not them?

CLEARLY they need more bins. I was at the park and all the bins were stuffed full.

So people are trying to use them but there just isn’t enough space to do so.

Which means the council needs to empty them more frequently (particuarly on nice days) or install more or bigger bins.

IT looks as if the people have been trying to use the bins but are they all full? Where are the bin men?

GLASGOW – dear green place no more (new bid for flats in area with city’s lowest green space ‘totally unacceptable’, Wednesday)!

Glasgow City Council will be allowing flats in Kelvingrove Park next, no doubt! Still, it has to find money for the ‘Equal Pay Award’ compensation paid out. I am still waiting to see the female ‘dinner ladies’ collecting bins though!
