A MYSTERY vehicle has been found wrecked and vandalised on a street. 

The car, a black Vauxhall was found abandoned on Broomloan Road near to the junction with Summertown Road this afternoon.

Its back wheel was smashed, apparently hit with force on its back righthand side and the window was spraypainted with the graffiti tag "Ogre". 

It is not known when the car was crashed nor are the circumstances of its abandonment.

Authorities have been left stumped. 

Glasgow Times:

Despite fire service tape draped over the body of the car, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was unable to provide any information on the apparent crash. 

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said they had no record of an incident involving a car crash on Broomloan Road and that it was a matter for the local authority.

A spokesman for Glasgow city council said that the vehicle, while parked in an "unorthodox way" was not violating parking restrictions and that the council was “perhaps unable” to collect it as it had apparently been involved in a crash.
