A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a gang stormed into his home and battered him with weapons.
The 21-year-old was pounced on by three men in his Carmuir, Forth, home at around 5am on Sunday.
The crooks brandished weapons and demanded money in the Lanarkshire property, making off with a mobile phone and a laptop.
One of the suspects is described as having blonde hair.
The attack victim is currently in a stable condition in hospital as cops appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Constable Sandy Orr said: "The victim is currently in hospital in a stable condition after the attack in his home.
"The men made off with a mobile phone and a laptop and we are keen to trace these three men.
"They are described as being around 25-years of age, all wearing dark clothing. One of the men has blonde hair."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
