A CHILD has been taken to hospital after falling out of a car in the city’s Kinning Park.
Eyewitnesses called 999 after witnessing the horror incident on Govan Road close to the famous Grand Ole Opry on Sunday night.
The force said the child was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.
Police did not reveal the child’s age but a witness told the Glasgow Times it was a baby.
The force said no criminality has been established.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 7.15pm on Sunday, 21 June, 2020, police received report of a child having fallen out of a car on Govan Road, Glasgow. Officers spoke with the driver and the child was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.
"No criminality has been establish at this time.”
