The reason for the delay is not known at this time.

Overnight the Azamara Journey made its way past the Firth of Clyde, before turning around near Islay.

This morning it was seen by the Isle of Man.

Marine tracking site, Marine Traffic, estimates the ship will be visible on the Clyde from tomorrow morning.

Boarded with an essential crew only, the vessel will be docked alongside Azamara Pursuit and Azamara Quest in Shiedhall.

Peel Ports confirmed the ships would be deep cleaned and spend two weeks at high sea to ensure they are free from Covid-19 before arriving at the docks.

It is understood the ships will remain on the River Clyde, while the cruise industry is suspended due to the pandemic.
