The South Side community has rallied together to restore a nursery playground after mindless vandals trashed it on the day it was due to reopen.
Members of staff at Jimmy Dunnachie Family Learning Centre woke yesterday morning to find the grounds of the tots' play area destroyed before they were due to return to the playgroup.

The nursery explained how they were "angry" and "sad" after finding hard work put into the playground for reopening completely destroyed.
Images show how the vandals ransacked the grounds, where they tipped soil from a gardening pit across the colourful outdoor space.
Wooden pallets were also tossed upside down and lay in heaps with children’s gardening equipment discarded amongst the mess.
The nursery is now thanking the local community for coming together to restore the play area.
A Tweet reads: "Look at our outdoors!
"We were so happy this morning, our guardian angel came to restore our outdoor area.
"Thank you so very much."
