A STREET in East Kilbride was closed off by cops last night after a man was found injured.
The force arrived on Sandpiper Drive at 7 pm after concerned residents raised the alarm over a man walking down the street with blood on his face.
Police said he told officers he sustained the injuries after a fall.
He was taken to Hairmyres Hospital.

"Around 7pm on Tuesday, June 23, police received a report of a man being injured in Sandpiper Drive, East Kilbride.
"Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital.
"He advised staff he sustained his injuries after falling."
