CELTIC have launched their own coronavirus face protection mask - so Hoops fans can show off their favourite colours while protecting themselves at all times.

The green and white hooped protection also includes the club crest and is priced at £8.

The Parkhead club have confirmed that a percentage of each mask sold will go the Celtic FC Foundation.

It comes after government guidelines outlined that the public should be wearing protective masks on public transport at all times.

On The Celtic Store website, the club said: "The removed mask must be washed before being reused.

"At no time should the mask be kept around the neck to be reused. The mask must be placed individually in a closed plastic bag, until it is placed in the washing machine.

"The mask protection is only guaranteed if you respect the cleaning and care instructions. The mask should be stored in a dry environment and protected from potential contamination (before or after washing).

"The mask should be washed before its first use. In case of defect or damage do not use the mask, replace it with another one.

"At the end of the mask's life cycle, the mask should be washed under the conditions defined in the section 'care and cleaning' and after washing it must be discarded as non-hazardous textile waste. If you choose not to wash the mask, you should discard it as biological waste."

It is recommended that the mask should be washed at 60 degrees.
