A MAN has been arrested after a disturbance in Govanhill.
Police were spotted in the South Side area in the aftermath of the alleged incident with Calder Street and Craigie Street closed off.
The force said they were, however, called to a disturbance on nearby Victoria Road just after 6 pm.

A man, 34, was arrested and charged in connection with possession of an offensive weapon.
He was released on undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 6.45 pm on Tuesday, June 23, officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Victoria Road, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and a 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with possession of an offensive weapon.
"He was released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
"A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
