A MAN was rushed to hospital after a violent mugging on a cycle path.
The 18-year-old was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for injuries to his head and hand at shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
Three men approached the man on the cycle path near to Garscue Road, stealing his mobile phone and jacket.
The three suspects are described as being around six foot tall and of average build. They spoke with local accents and had their faces covered. They were all wearing dark coloured tracksuits, one of which had a white stripe.

PC Craig Ford of the Greater Glasgow Robbery Unit said: "Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we would urge anyone with information which could aid our enquiries to come forward.
"Any information can be passed to police by calling 101, quoting incident 0195 of June 24."
