A SOUTH Side vegan food truck has launched a scheme for members of the public to nominate NHS heroes for some delicious free food.
Trusty Bucks, currently based in owner Hugh Kearns driveway in Pollokshields, launched the scheme to celebrate the NHS's 72nd birthday.

Five winners will be chosen from random and will able to order from the popular food truck for free, with items such as burgers, hot dogs and burritos on offer.
The truck launched in 2019, with Hugh employing out-of-work musician pals as couriers during lockdown.

Nominations are open to full-time and part-time NHS staff, and meals will be delivered on Sunday 5th July, the day of the service's 72nd birthday.
The nomination process began on last Monday, closing today at 6pm.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 30 June.
