ANDY ROBERTSON has sent his love and prayers to Glasgow following today's city centre attack.
Armed police have responded to an ongoing incident at the Park Inn Hotel on West George Street, where a suspect was shot dead by police.
Reports have suggested that three people have died and a police officer is in hospital.
After hearing the news Scotland skipper Andy Robertson was quick to send his love to the city where he was brought up.
He wrote on Twitter: "Awful and tragic news coming out of Glasgow today. Thoughts with all those effected. Sending my love and prayers."
Police Scotland have confirmed that six people are in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries following the attack.
ACC Steve Johnson said: "The individual who was shot by armed police has died. Six other people are in hospital for treatment to their injuries including a police officer, who is in a critical but stable condition."
