TWO men who were prosecuted in Lanarkshire courts have died in prison.
Jay Alexander Boyd, 37, a prisoner from HMP Glenochil has died. He was convicted at Airdrie Sheriff Court on 21 June last year.
While, Stuart Glancy, 38, a prisoner from HMP Addiewell has also died. He was convicted at Hamilton Sheriff Court on 17 April 2020.
A Scottish Prison Service spokesman said: “Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course.
