A statement reads: "All of them remain in hospital. One is critical but stable and two are stable, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Two others are in stable conditions at the #QEUH (Queen Elizabeth University Hospital)."

The knife attack is not being treated as a terrorist incident but police investigations ongoing.

The Park Inn Hotel was being used by Home Office contractor, the Mears Group, to house asylum seekers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mears Group issued a statement last night stating their priority is to "look after the welfare of our service users who will no doubt be traumatised by this terrible event".
