A man, 29, has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault in the city centre.
Officers closed off multiple areas by St Enoch Square after the daylight attack around 2.45pm on Tuesday, June 23.
Cordones were put up in areas including Dixon Street, St Enoch's Square and Adam's Court.
A 22-year-old man had been rushed to hospital after the attack. His injuries are said to have been non-life-threatening.

The 29-year man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
A full report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland statement reads: "We can confirm a 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault at St Enoch Square in #Glasgow.
"The incident happened around 2.45pm on Tuesday, June 23. A 22-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening injury during the incident.
"A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 30."
