One victim of the West George Street attack on Friday afternoon that left six people stabbed, has been discharged from hospital.
One other victim remains in hospital in a "critical but stable" condition.
The four others, including PC Constable David Whyte, are described as being in a "stable" condition by hospital staff.
The others injured were men aged 17, 18, 20, 38 and 53. Two are staff members at the hotel and three are asylum seekers.
PC Constable David Whyte earlier thanked the medical staff at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for their "outstanding" care.

He said: “I would like to thank the medical staff at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for their outstanding care in the hours following this incident.
"Finally, I would like to thank the public for all their kind messages of support and for the good wishes from all at Police Scotland."
