Until yesterday, Glasgow was pictured as a ghost town as all high street chains and shops closed and boarded up for the coronavirus lockdown.
Under phase two of the Scottish Government's lockdown lifting plans, all non-essential shops reopened on Monday morning in accord with national health advice.

We reported how queues stretched across Argyle Street and tailed around the corner to Miller Street as shoppers waited for Primark's doors to open at 8am.
It has even been reported the first horde of keen customers were waiting outside the branch at 4am.

Today, the buzz in the city centre has been pictured similar to that of pre-pandemic scenes as scores people have flocked to the area to snap-up goods from their favorite outlets.
