Fraser Forster is unlikely to return to Celtic this summer, it is understood.

The goalkeeper spent last season on loan from Southampton at Parkhead and the Hoops are desperate for him to return once more for another loan stint.

Now, however, Herald and Times Sport understands Ralph Hassenhuttl may be willing to give the 32-year-old a chance in the team at St Mary's next season to compete with current number one Alex McCarthy and Angus Gunn.

Southampton had reportedly wanted around £10million for Forster on a permanent deal but Celtic were more hopeful of securing him on another loan.

Meanwhile, Mo Elyounoussi is one player who WILL return to Glasgow to sign another loan deal following his successful spell last term.

The Norwegian was confirmed this evening.
