Two people have been rushed to hospital after a violent brawl took place in Cumbernauld yesterday evening.
Police officers were rushed to the scene on Pine court at 5.50pm as they responded to the vicious fight.
A 40-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were rushed by ambulance to Monklands Hospital for their injuries.
The force made four arrests in connection to the disturbance, including a 19-year-old woman, a 40-year-old woman and two men, aged 34 and 39.
A spokeswoman said: "Police were called around 5.50pm to Pine Court, Cumbernauld, following reports of a disturbance.
"Officers attended and four people were arrested - two women, aged 19 and 40, and two men, aged 34 and 39.
"The 40-year-old woman and 39-year-old man were taken by ambulance to Monklands Hospital for treatment.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
