ARSENAL-daft Piers Morgan has declared his "love" for Kieran Tierney following his fine form since the return of the Premier League.

The former Celtic defender has started all but one of the Gunners' matches and has been a standout for Mikel Arteta's side.

Tierney is quickly becoming a fans favourite with Arsenal fans across the globe and they don't come much bigger than GMB host Piers Morgan.

Morgan took to Twitter to hail the Scotland international as Arsenal defeated Norwich 4-0 last night.

He wrote, alongside a picture of Tierney: "Love this guy - he's a proper player. @kierantierney1".

Emirates boss Arteta also hailed Tierney, who has bounced back from a series of injuries to cement his place in the Arsenal starting line-up.

He said: “He's been training incredibly hard through COVID-19.

"It's been a tough moment for him in the last six or seven months and to move here from a different city, a different football club.

“He is a kid with an incredible attitude and he is so willing to learn and to put in everything he has.

“He has a massive heart and I am delighted to have him in the team.

"He's a kid who is going to get better and better and better.”
