Budget supermarket Aldi has finally opened its doors in the Gorbals today.
The new Crown Street store opened to customers at 8am this morning.
The new store will be run by manager Matt McGarvey along with a team of 24 colleagues from the local community.
He said: "It was lovely to meet our new customers at the Crown Street store.
“The new store opened with social distancing guidelines in place to ensure the health and safety of our customers and colleagues.
"We would like to thank customers for their patience and support in adhering to these safety measures.”
