A SUSPECT is accused of setting fire to a camper van and damaging three other motor vehicles.
Douglas Nicol, 46, allegedly torched Andrew Turner’s Talbot Express in Maryhill last October.
Prosecutors claimed Nicol “wilfully set fire” to the vehicle on Oran Gate. It is then stated the blaze destroyed an Audi A4, a Peugeot 307 and another Talbot camper van.
The charge finally claims that Nicol had “previously shown malice and ill will” towards an Andrew Burton.
A hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court was postponed yesterday due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The case was dealt with administratively and a new date has been set for August this year.
No plea has been made by Nicol, also of Maryhill, who did not appear at court, and he remains on bail for the matter meantime.
